Monotype printmaking is often associated with oil-based inks, print shops and presses however there are new advances in water-based pigment technology and innovative hand-printing techniques to make monoprintmaking possible in the artist's studio. Stacy Rosende, the Education Program Director for Golden Artist Colors, will lead a virtual workshop exploring trace monotypes, plate monotypes using glass, silicon and gelatin, relief block printing, collagraphy, silk screen as well as experimental techniques involving watercolors.
